Epoxy resin curing agent
The curing agent, also known as hardeners, curing agents, or variations in
measured doses, are a class to promote or control the curing reaction of the
substance or mixture.
The cured resin is the occurrence of an irreversible change in the process,
the thermosetting resin After condensation, closed-loop, addition or
catalytic chemical reaction, curing is accomplished by adding a curing (crosslinking)
agent.
Classification of the epoxy resin curing agent
(1), basic and acidic curing agent: ① alkaline curing agents include
aliphatic diamines and polyamines, aromatic polyamines, other
nitrogen-containing compound and a modified aliphatic amine. ② acidic class
of curing agents include organic acids, acid anhydrides, and boron
trifluoride and its complexes.
(2) plus molding and catalytic curing agents: such as ① molding curing agent
curing agent with epoxy addition reaction to form part of the cured product
segment, linear molecules by stepwise polymerization and cross-linked into
the body structure of molecules , such a curing agent is also known as
guar-type curing agent. An amine such as epoxy, polythiols, polyhydric
phenol, low molecular weight polyamide, organic acids and anhydrides, and
the low-condensate curing agents. ② catalytic curing agents such curing
agent only the epoxy occurs initiator role to open the epoxy groups, the
catalyzed epoxy resin itself polymerized into a mesh structure, generated
homopolymer as the main structure of an ether bond, and the curing agent
itself does not produce the crosslinking reaction. Such as tertiary amines,
imidazoles, dicyandiamide, boron trifluoride complexes, stannous
isooctanoate, stannous octoate, stannous like.
